Cabinet Construction

Traditional or Modern?

For the cabinet box design, you have the power to choose between traditional (framed) and modern (frameless) cabinets giving you the freedom to design your space as you envision it.

_____________________

Traditional cabinets, common in residential settings, feature a hardwood frame attached to the plywood box. This is a perfect option to add a high-end yet inviting touch to your home!

_____________________

Modern cabinets do not have this hardwood frame. Instead, the edges of the constructed plywood box are finished to match the color of the doors and drawer fronts. This allows full access to the cabinet interior with the doors open. Modern cabinets are most commonly used in commercial settings but are becoming more popular in the residential sector.

Wood Species

We offer all the popular hardwoods for constructing your cabinet doors and drawer fronts regardless of the box style (framed or frameless). If the desired hardwood is not listed as an option, just let us know, and we will try to get it!

Finish

For the finish, we use Sirca 2K polyurethane which is mechanically applied by our state-of-the-art spraying system to ensure a consistent and flawless finish. This finish is the most waterproof and durable on the market. It is far superior to conversion varnishes, pre-cat lacquers, and other water-based finishes. All our finishes come standard in low gloss (20sheen), but we can do other sheens upon request. We use a special non-yellowing acrylic polyurethane for our stained cabinetry. For solid colors, the colorants are bonded to the polymers in the polyurethane to guarantee color consistency. We can match most colors from the top paint manufacturers creating endless possibilities for your custom cabinetry.

Sizing

Another advantage of custom cabinetry is custom sizing. We will build your cabinetry down to the closest 1/16 of an inch. This creates unlimited flexibility in the design of your cabinets and allows the end product to be truly unique!
